Hi, I'm Kristen!

I’m a Yoga Alliance-certified teacher who is completely obsessed with good self-care!

Why the obsession? Because I spent a huge chunk of my life feeling absolutely awful. Let me tell you how I got here:

Anxiety, depression, joint pain, exhaustion, and random mystery medical symptoms defined my life for almost a decade. I had tried several medications, I had seen so many doctors I had lost count, and I still felt awful, day after day. The best my doctors could do was tell me that I likely had Fibromyalgia, and that some medications could  help, but ultimately, this was something I would need to learn to live with.

Uh, no thanks? Can I pass on a lifetime of feeling bad?

 

I tried to "live with it" as best I could, but constantly feeling ill and in pain put a huge strain on my relationships and work.

 

Ultimately, I got sick and tired of being sick and tired!

I didn't want to live my life from bed anymore, so I made "getting better" my personal research project. After thousands of hours of research through books, classes, mentors, experimentation, and practice, my life has completely changed. I live close to "normal" now, and my flare-ups are few and far between. I'm passionate about helping people manage stress, chronic low energy, and pain by sharing what I've learned through yoga, meditation, mindset management, and healthy eating. I understand that everyone's symptoms vary, so if you choose 1:1 lessons, we'll work out a plan that's custom tailored exactly to what you need. If you'd rather join in for group classes, they will always be mindful of energy levels and will include pose variations.

Kristen always seems to know just what I need in each yoga session. She listens well and takes a holistic approach based on my specific needs.
